RECIPE FOR VEGETABLE IDLI


INGREDIENTS
Semolina                                           30g
Oats                                                   15g
Curd                                                   30g
Carrot                                                30g
Onion                                                  30g
Peas                                                   20g
Eno                                                     Pinch
Oil                                                       1 tsp
METHOD
Mix semolina, oats and curd well. Keep the mixture for 2 hours. Saute finely chopped carrot, onion and peas in a pan and add this to the pre- prepared mixture. Add salt according to taste. Mix well. Add a pinch of eno when idli is to be prepared. Place the mixture uniformly in idli mould and steam the same for 15 – 20 minutes. Serve hot with coconut/ tomato chutney.
