 Before starting the tailored diet plan, my daughter Mehreen, who is 9 years old and living with type 1 diabetes, struggled with her health. Her fasting blood sugar (FBS) was alarmingly high at 325 mg/dL, and she frequently experienced scary hypoglycemic episodes. She was also underweight and constantly fatigued, which made her afraid to play or be active. Her energy levels were so low that it affected her daily life and happiness.

Since working with a dietitian Kamal Bajwa  to create a balanced, low-glycemic diet tailored for her type 1 diabetes, we've seen incredible changes. In just a few months, Mehreen’s FBS dropped to a much more stable 170 mg/dL. She’s gained 3 kg of healthy body weight and grown from 123 cm to 129 cm in height. Most importantly, since starting the diet, she hasn’t had a single hypoglycemic episode—a huge relief for our family.
