32kg is gone !!!!!! lets eat right, get the right weight

 


 Ms Bandhanjot Kaur, a university topper, achieved her ideal body weight 60kg . She has lost 32kg .She had very balanced diet and gained good lean muscle mass . 




University or college going students usually suffer from low self-esteem and depression due to obesity . they frequently try quick and unhealthy means to get their desired look without knowing what is  a balanced diet , what kind or macro-micro nutrients are required at this specific age as well as what is ideal body weight.

Students should fist able to figure out what is ideal body weight for them. A  student must consider following before opting weight reduction method.

  • How safe is it . is this method recommended by a dietitian ?
  • How long am I able to follow this ?
  •  is it a balanced diet? 
  • what is my  present nutritional status/ what is the nutritional status of my  present diet ?
  • How my blood parameters and body components varies with weight reduction .
  • How will I maintain ideal body weight for long.
